Greetings!
C’mere! the song ‘naturesway’ was officially released as a single just right this very second!!
here it is on i-tunes for a quid,
or you can buy it and the previously unreleased Our Regards for a quid and a half instead.
Alternatively, you might like to download it through your garageband from here or something….x
Recorded by Ber Quinn in a big house in a field in Kildare, the strings were arranged by Cormac Curran, who also managed to play drums and chimes on the track (and keys on the rest of the record).
Keith Farrell played double bass, and mixed the other 11 album tracks, just for good measure.
Shane Holly can be seen playing his lovely electric in this version from leafy mid-july.
Our regards is the final track from the album’s original recording sessions, Gavin Glass produced it (and the rest of the album!) and weighed in on electric guitar and banjo. Ross Turner, who played the sweet sweet drums, can be heard playing with gav in his recent interview on radio 1
News just in that Our Little Secrets have been blessed with
the role of supporting the exquisite Cathy Davey & band on their forthcoming October tour! (see dates below)
HUZZAH!
After a special show supporting Jerry Fish on the waters of the shannon,
this very weekend will be polished off with an Any Other City gig tonight in Whelans
and at the Camden Collective Fundraiser in the Village tomorrow!
The good news is that the three sligo gigs in 24 hours went smoothly,
and the good news is that next up is a London debut, supporting Villagers in The Old Vic Tunnels!
Having been blessed with opening for tori amos & mundy in the last few days, you would think the lads would be all done for a while, but sure now it looks like there’s the small matter of tonight’s show with Kristin Hersh in whelans.
savage!
oh, oh – here’s the itunes link for the album –
just in case, like, just, like, if you wanted to hear the 30 second previews, .. ‘n’ stuff….
The dust has settled on the beastly Whelans and Cyprus Avenue shows,
a trillion thanks to everyone who came along and made ‘em so special!!
Extra cap tippery in the direction of the D.O.D. for his show stealing mirth-filled supports too! Savage stuff!
With a couple of full band radio things in the next week, keep an eye out for links added on that there facebookpage.

Our Little Secrets, the Dublin-based band whose debut album is currently coming up for air, are the collective efforts of chief composer Rhob Cunningham and a merry band of like-minded cohorts. 'Good or Bad Thing', taken from Our Little Secrets' debut album, will be released on March 5th. The track, which features guest vocals from Lisa Hannigan, is the first single from the album which is set to be released on May 7th.
Sporting the considerable talents of the likes of Hannigan, Cathy Davey and Jenny Lindfors, Rhob Cunningham's musical project has piqued the interest of just about anyone who's heard it. Rhob has spent the last few years playing songs and breaking E strings in every venue imaginable in Ireland. This incessant touring has led to supporting roles including Lisa Hannigan, Bell X1, Cathy Davey, Mundy, Mick Flannery and the late John Martyn, as well as backing vocal duties on Hannigan's debut album 'Sea Sew'.
Rhob, along with a selection of truly musical humans, ensconced themselves in to various studios, basements, attics and kitchens in Wicklow and Kildare, not leaving until the basis for a full length album was in the bag. So now, some moons later, it's all ready to go and time to set it loose on some fresh pairs of ears. Produced by the venerable Gavin Glass and mixed by Keith Farrell (The Duckworth Lewis Method), & mastered in the late Liam Clancy's studio in Dungarvan, the album features the strumming, hitting and plucking of Cormac Curran (Villagers/Cathy Davey), Ross Turner (Jape/I Am The Cosmos), Shane Holly (Jennifer Evans & The Ripe Intent) and other assorted family and friends.
A national tour in support of the album will come early in the summer.
